At Animal Allies Africa, we’re driven by a singular mission to revolutionize the lives of farmed animals. As the reality of factory farming continues to prioritize efficiency over empathy, we’re committed to advocating for practices that improve the welfare of farmed animals. We believe that every animal deserves a life free from suffering and filled with respect, kindness, and dignity. Through advocacy, education, and innovation, we’re working tirelessly to create a world where compassion meets sustainability and every animal can thrive.
Our Mission
Our Vision
Our Core Values
Empowering organisations, communities and individuals to make a positive impact on animal welfare, driving a systemic change through legal advocacy, policy formulation, education and food system reforms for an animal friendly global environment.
Animal Allies Africa advocates for ethical and sustainable food systems that prioritize animal welfare. We work to promote humane farming practices, reduce factory farming, and promote substitution of animal protein with plant based protein sources.
Animal Allies Africa works to secure stronger protections that benefit animals especially farmed animals, through policy reforms, seeking justice & holding individuals & companies accountable for abuse and neglect of animals.
Through our corporate outreach department, we work with some of the world’s largest food businesses to implement meaningful animal protection policies. These policies reduce the suffering of millions of animals every year.
One of our main goals is to empower farmers, industry stakeholders and communities with the knowledge and tools needed to create more humane & sustainable farming systems.
“It’s not enough to love animals; we must actively protect and preserve them. It’s our duty and responsibility as custodians of this planet.”
— Daphne Sheldrick
